RD Olson Construction, a general contractor in Irvine, has been chosen by the new owners to complete the project, according to a statement.

“Having completed several projects in the area over the past five years, RD Olson Construction is ready to offer our expertise for the expedited completion of Napa Creek Village,” said Bill Wilhelm, president of RD Olson Construction.

Napa Creek Village could be finished as early as November, Wilhelm said. “This is what we are aiming for,” he said.

“Our team is using our in-depth knowledge of California energy codes and material sourcing to provide cost-effective and rapid solutions to get this project to market in just six months,” he said.

The 47,004 square foot property will consist of nine buildings with 24 two-bedroom, 16 one-bedroom and eight studio options, several of which will be pre-furnished to serve mobile business class.

The property includes a central courtyard with barbecues and fireplaces, green landscaping irrigated with recycled gray water, and a community building for resident activities.

“Residents will benefit from substantial energy savings through the installation of photovoltaic panels, while enjoying the convenience of carports, built-in washers and dryers and modern technology,” the statement said.
