Rose new Junior Achievement of North Florida Board Chair

Junior Achievement of North Florida welcomed Meg Rose as its new Board Chair. Rose will serve in this role for a two-year term, beginning July 1 and running through June 30, 2024. Rose joined the JA of North Florida Board of Directors in August 2018 and served on the Executive Committee as as secretary from 2020 to 2022. She also served as chair of the nonprofit’s 2021 $mart Women Make Change event, an annual fundraiser to support the JA Girl$ initiative.

Rose is senior vice president of field operations for Firehouse Subs of America, where she oversees operations and compliance for the 1,225-unit restaurant chain. Rose joined the company in 2007 and has also held the position of franchise business manager and director of company operations.

Rose attended the University of Rhode Island and earned the title of Certified Franchise Executive from the International Franchise Association.

The Design Director of Pineapple Corp. obtains NCIDQ certification

The Pineapple Corp., a Northeast Florida luxury design-build company, announced that Sammie Janica, Design Director, recently passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam and received its NCIDQ certification. Certification is recognized as the highest standard and benchmark for mastery of interior design principles and a designer’s commitment to the profession.

Janica joined The Pineapple Corp. as an Interior Designer in 2016. Her previous experience includes working in residential and commercial interior design environments.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design from the Art Institute of Jacksonville.
