August 9, 2021 – Epsten Group, a sustainable design, consultancy and commissioning company with offices in Savannah, Atlanta and Chicago, recently announced that Carmen Evans, AIA, LEED AP has been promoted to Design Studio Manager. Evans helped shape the direction of the design department during his twelve years with the organization and will now lead design efforts for all future projects while maintaining current customer relationships and business development.

Carmen Evans is a registered architect and graduated in 2006 from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Masters in Architecture. She has extensive experience in architectural and interior design projects. Evans has worked on several types of projects, including adaptive reuse and historic preservation, office interiors, condominiums, hotels, public facilities, and residences. His interior design projects include numerous corporate offices, as well as the offices of Zoo Atlanta Savanna Hall and the Epsten Group.

Evans has been part of the Epsten Group team since 2009 and is also a Certified LEED Project Evaluator, with experience reviewing and advising on hundreds of LEED projects. She was President of AIA Savannah in 2020, President of USGBC Savannah in 2016, and a 2019 graduate of AIA’s inaugural Leadership Development Program GA Christopher Kelley.
